Shana Karn brings twelve years of experience in real estate, excellent customer service and a commitment to work hard, listen and follow through. She provides quality service to build relationships with clients and more importantly, maintain those relationships by communicating effectively.
As a lifetime resident of Central New York, Shana has lived and worked in the Cortland-Dryden-Ithaca areas and has an intimate knowledge of the region which gives her an enthusiasm and a desire to make her home, your home.
As a local, small business owner and a professional photographer, Shana is in a unique position to work with people in a variety of capacities, and to continually build her real estate network. Her past professional experience has included working with a not-for-profit housing preservation corporation, teaching first-time homebuyer courses, offering credit counseling and working with various home refinancing programs. She also worked at Cornell University’s Small Animal Hospital, College of Human Ecology and Cornell Cooperative Extension (Human Ecology Programs).
Shana resides in the Dryden area with her husband, Dan, a local health care practitioner. They have adult, identical twin daughters, both of whom are elementary school teachers and theyrecently, welcomed their first grandchild! When she isn’t working, Shana enjoys her three dogs, photography, hand lettering and reading.
